A lovely tablecloth alone doesn’t make a refined table. Remember to decorate your party table with our boxes of 6 Laguiole forks, made in France by craftsmen. Made from high-quality materials, our Laguiole forks are available in several colors to brighten your table.
Did you know? Even if the forks are always set on the left-hand side of the plate, there are two ways to do it, French-style or English-style.

In France, the forks are set with their teeth pointing down. This custom dates back to the Renaissance when noble families had their coats of arms engraved on the back of the forks’ handles. As a consequence, forks were set with their teeth pointing down in order to display their emblems.

In England, forks are set pointing up, because noble English families had their own coats of arms engraved on the inside of the cutlery.
