Paperstone is made outof recycled paper and phenoplasts (petrol-free resin), with water as the main solvent. Paperstone has been awarded the FSC label by Rainforest Alliance's Smartwood programme.

It is a very tough material which can be worked like wood. Paperstone feels as soft as wood, and yet it is even more resistant. Non-porous, it is waterproof, heat-proof (180°C) and UV-resistant. It is used by architects to makes solid surfaces such as counters, windows and door thresholds.

Paperstone also made its way into knife-making, for handle manufacturing. It allows craftsmen to build elegant and fuctional objects which bring together a traditional kow-how, a contemporary artistic approach and environmental concerns.
