More about Olive Wood
Olive wood comes from Mediterranean climes. It is very hard in texture, has a tight fibre and a superb polish. It is yellowish in colour with brown veins.
Remember that wood is a living material, olive wood therefore acquires a patina and changes with time and use. It is therefore unrealistic to expect to maintain the wooden knife handle in a like-new condition.
