The whole of these parts was manufactured in the basin of Thiers except for the plates out of wooden.

This is a Laguiole knife kit with 2 stainless steel bolsters. A unique creation for all lovers of aesthetic and refined knives.
The fact that it is in kit form is already a surprise. This style changes from the models already assembled in the factory. Forget this step. Be the master builder of this Laguiole knife in kit. What does it mean? A single aphorism: you will assemble the entire knife using the parts provided by the brand.
The 12C27 stainless steel with which the blade and the two plates were designed is without question a superior material. It is corrosion resistant, strong and durable.
The pair of wooden plates is also part of the highlights of this kit. We have chosen rosewood by default. As you know, rosewood is not only a noble species but also a wood full of elegance and capable of braving the years. It does not undergo any alteration or change despite age. This is probably one of the reasons why we have selected it for the design of the inserts in this kit. It is of course possible to select another wood if you wish.
