A beautiful object; almost too good to use. One slight criticism is that the vertical brass dots on the crucifix do not align properly; the top dot is off-centre. Not a problem though; still a beautifully presented knife and a joy to hold.

I do not believe time is money. Rather time is art or beauty. Rather a few beautiful things than a lot of plastic junk. Laguiole makes beautiful knives. I have owned and given them as gifts. Recently purchased a pair of personalized, one for my daughter and one for myself. Both were identical but for initials. If I were Laguiole the one thing I think I would get right is the Trade mark on the blade. My daughters is perfect my blades mark is only a partial Boars head is missing from the tusk down! Seriously I am proud to own a Laguiole knife. Just wish Laguiole was just as proud, enough to get the Trade mark right! 2.5 Stars
